Hunting for the northern light with reindeer and sled - 3 days trip

This is a 3 day trip, 1 night will be in a lavvo and 1 night in our lodge in Mollisjok.

The first day we will start with the reindeers and skis after a specific route. The trips will vary between 10 - 15 km in one day where you have alternative to ski or sit in a sledge. Accommodation and food are served in the lavvo.

The second day is a little shorter as we take a solid break in the middle of the day and try the icefishing on Finnmark's largest lake Iesjavri after char and trout. The fish is served for dinner in the lavvo that evening.

The third day will be returning back to base Mollisjok Lodge.

The trip can be very extreme, with low temperatures far below -30 celsius, especially in the months of December, January and February. Therefore, we have the choice to have a starting point from our lodge in Mollisjok and we can shorten the trips from the lodge and stay all the nights in the lodge.

Daytrip with Reindeer Sledding.

One day trip

We arrange a day trip with reindeersledding and skiing from our base Mollisjok lodge. We travel after a certain round with varied wide terrain.

Snowmobile rental

We have snowmobiles for rental. Can be delivered for rent in Alta or Suossjavri by inner mainroad 92.

We have and 25 sets of winter clothes, snowmobile clothes, helmets, gloves and shoes.

By closer agreement we can deliver snowmobiles for rental in Karasjok.

Price from kr. 2300, - per day included clothes (price for fuel will be added)

• Nature is unpredictable, and catches may vary.

Specifications for International Guests:

• From March 15 to the end of May, we welcome international guests to our ice fishing tours. We have an exemption from FEFO to offer fishing permits to foreign anglers.

Weather Conditions and Safety:

• Iesjavri can experience harsh weather. In case of bad weather, we will choose other lakes that are not as exposed to ensure a safe and comfortable experience.

Practical Information:
