How to get here
There are two ways to get to Mollisjok. Either you go by car to Soussjavre Mountain lodge, that is situated along the main road nr 92 between Alta and Karrasjok. This is 18 kms from Mollisjok, 30 minutes by snowmobile in winter time and 1,5 hour by terrain car in summer. This is the best way in, if you come from eastern Finnmark and have your own car. The other solution is to go by car to Jotkavann (lake) near Jotka mountain lodge. If you arrive by plane to Alta, this is the best place to start. You will use approximately 40 minutes by car from Alta airport, and then 1,5 hour by snowmobile. If you wish to be picked up by snowmobile, it can be arranged from both places on demand. We can also arrange car transportation to and from Alta airport if you need that.
